CPR Training Options for Coaches and Volunteers

Our Little League strongly encourages all coaches and other volunteers to get basic CPR training. All teams should have at least one parent volunteer who has CPR training. The American Heart Association is offering the following free training sessions in February.

HeartSaver CPR (certificate)
This course covers high-quality CPR techniques for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED as well as First Aid. Successful completion results in a 2-year American Heart Association certification card. Ages 16 to adult may attend. Those under 18 must attend with a parent/legal guardian.

"Family & Friends" CPR (non-certificate)
This complementary course utilizes the American Heart Association Family & Friends curriculum to teach basic lay-rescuer CPR techniques, choking relief and basic AED use to know how to help Family & Friends. This is a non-certification course. Ages 12 to adult may attend. Those under 18 must attend with a parent/legal guardian.
