Coaches will host tryouts next week for baseball players wishing to join the Majors or Minors District Tournament teams. Tryouts will take place at the Milan Recreation Area, 30 Matecki Road in Milan.

Tuesday, May 23 5:15 p.m.: Majors (ages 11-12)

Thursday, May 25 5:15 p.m.: Minors (ages 9-10)

Each team will be made up of the 12-14 players who are selected by division coaches after observing their play at tryouts. Players should try out only if they can commit to frequent practices starting in June, and games from mid-June through mid-July. (See the schedule for District Level play in the East Division here.) Expect at least three practices and/or games per week. Some games will require travel within the District (Dutchess and Putnam counties). There is a $50 fee.
